Happy Wednesday folks! Hope you all are having a lovely day! ^_^
--------------------------------------------------------
Sometimes, I find myself doing mundane things at work, home, or wherever and I think "I don't want to do this. Why do I have to do this?" Then I realize, it's not for my benefit but for something bigger.
I have encountered that lately. I've entered into partnerships and various things that the end part was the bigger goal than individual components.
A prime example of this is when I started to follow Jesus' example and follow God again. The big picture is not me but the relationship I have with God. It's all about Him because He is the true source of everything for me. Without Him, I am nothing. Although it is true He cares for me and loves me, the gifts, talents, and everything else He has blessed me with serves his benefit and glory--not mine.
At work, they have started a new discharge design to better serve our patients. Some nurses gripped about it because they felt like it was "too much work". However, they failed to realize that at the end of the day, the hospital is a business and if the patient is not satisfied, we cannot operate efficiently therefore we won't have a job there. It is much bigger than us--it is for the overall good for our organization at the end of the day.
Life is truly bigger than what others may make it out to be. It is bigger than ourselves. It is more about we instead of me. Unfortunately, in our society today, it seems like more and more people are so stuck on small that they cannot seem to see the bigger picture.
What do you think? Is there more to life? What is your bigger picture? I would love to hear from you all!
3 things-
1. Church today. The eyes of faith series is awesome and I am excited to hear a word tonight! Faith first comes by hearing!
2. My BF. :) I appreciate and adore you!
3. My upcoming vacation--so excited for the beach!
Feel free to share on social media!
Lots of love and blessings,
