Happy Friday everyone!
I hope you all are enjoying this weather. I know I've been enjoying it with my BF. Unfortunately, he's not feeling too well but say a prayer for him. I know I will. :)
--------------------------------------------------------
Lately, I have been poised with the question if I like living by myself and to be honest, I do. I mean, I get to set my own rules, I'm not under the direct influence of my parents anymore, and most importantly, I get to learn more about myself. Whenever my boyfriend is not there, it's just me and my thoughts and to me, I love those moments.
It's when I get to hear my inner voice and that's when I know, for me, that God speaks to me. For those moments, I'm not under the influence of any person or substance. It's me and the Spirit that is awaken. It's where I can refocus and truly think about what I want to accomplish, set out to do, and to plot with God the next course for my life.
I honestly believe that we do not spend enough time alone. If you are a believer like I am, we know that we are not truly alone--we are always in the presence of God. Even if you are not a believer, know that when you are alone, it is like the recharge not only for your body but for your mind, soul, and innermost spirit.
If you don't spend some time alone, I encourage you do so. We are all influenced by so much in the world. Take a break---for you and the people you spend times with sake. See if you can awaken that inner spirit again. Trust me, you'll be glad you did and I bet you'll come back much more focused and better than before.
I would love to hear from you all! Do you spend time alone? How do you unplug from it all? Feel free to share on social media!
Top three things:
1-being able to spend that one on one time
2-100% juice---so refreshing and hydrating
3-breakfast food--so simple yet so good!
Love and blessings to you all!
<3,
Barbara
